Access Point - Managed by Other

The Managed by Other state indicates that the Access Point

is not in the default state but it is not controlled by the

UniFi Controller.

Overview

MAC Address Displays the MAC address of the Access

Point.

Model Displays the model number.

Version Displays the version of software used on the

Access Point.

Last Seen Displays the amount of time that has passed

since the Access Point was last seen.

Advanced Adoption

IP Displays the IP address and SSH port of the Access

Point.

Username Enter the SSH Username for management

access. This is the Device Username you configured in

“Settings > Site” on page 7.

Password Enter the SSH Password for management

access. This is the Device Password you configured in

“Settings > Site” on page 7.

Inform URL This tells the AP where to look for the UniFi

Controller. The URL will be automatically displayed but

you may need to verify its accuracy as the system may

have multiple interfaces.

Adopt Click Adopt to adopt the Access Point so you can

manage it using the UniFi Controller software.
